Composite Material

Plan Tech offers a variety of standard and custom molded sheet products. These products combine metallic and non-metallic materials with thermoset polyurethanes.

Armorglide^TM cast polyurethane/UHMW-PE composite. Available in durometers from 30A to 75D. Armorglide materials offer the abrasion resistance and durability of cast polyurethane with the lubricity and sliding abrasion resistance of UHMW.

Urethane with cold rolled steel (CRS). Single side, double sided or centered.

• Solid. Cast polyurethane bonded to specially prepared cold rolled steel sheet. Available in a variety of thicknesses and durometers.
• Expanded metal. Cast polyurethane bonded to specially prepared expanded metal sheet.
• Perforated metal. Cast polyurethane bonded to specially prepared perforated metal sheet.

Urethane with Stainless. Single side, double sided or centered.

Urethane with Aluminum. Single side, double sided or centered.

Urethane with UHMW. Small parts up to 8" square.

Urethane with felt, fiberglass, Kevlar, carbon fiber or other reinforcing fiber.

Combined with waterjet cutting capabilities, complex reinforced urethane parts become a reality.
